Jean-Philippe Rüegg
Is a qualified acupuncturist who has studied Chinese Medicine in Zurich, Switzerland. He expanded his skills at the National Hospital of Traditional Medicine in Hanoi, Vietnam. He specialised in the treatment of psychosomatic diseases with acupuncture. Jean-Philippe received further training with Whitfield Reaves (USA) in the field of Sports Acupuncture. Besides his activities at New Leaf, Jean-Philippe is responsible for the acupuncture treatments with Paracelsus Recovery, a clinic that offers medical stays for international clients in Switzerland. Whether he treats locals patients, managers of large companies or members of royal families, he always attaches great importance to offer high quality acupuncture and ensures that his clients feel comfortable at all times. Jean-Philippe found his way to acupuncture through chinese martial arts, which he practised and taught for many years.
Jean-Philippe Rüegg is an EMR-recognized therapist and a member of the Swiss Professional Organization for Traditional Chinese Medicine. He speaks fluently English, German and French.

New Leaf Acupuncture is centrally located in a historical building, in walking distance from Kunsthaus and Stadelhofen train station.
